The breakwater protecting the reclamation of the planned LNG terminal in the port of Antifer is 1000 m long and built in water 9 m deep.

A wave tank study was conducted in order to:

  • study the stability of all the protecting structures,
  • measure forces on the wall constituting the upper part of the structure,
  • examine the stability of the beach in the immediate vicinity.
